STATE-WIDE FAST: UDUAKOBONG EKPO-UFOT DINES WITH THE NELSONS IN ETINAN

The PDP standard bearer for Etinan State Constituency, Mr Uduakobong Ekpo-Ufot on Saturday, October 1, 2022 joined the family of his bossom friend, Mr Edemeka Nelson at their family compound in Ikot Obio Eka, Etinan to break the state-wide fast declared by Governor Udom Emmanuel.

Mr Ekpo-Ufot made the stopover after gracing the October 1st Independence Day March Past at the Etinan Stadium earlier in the day and was greeted by a rousing welcome by The Nelson's family & kinsmen who hosted him to a sumptuous dinner.

In his remark, the media assistant to the Nigerian Ambassador to Angola, Mr Nelson NseAbasi said the invitation extended to Mr Ekpo-Ufot to dine with his kinsmen was inspired by the value of the relationship with his brother, a friendship which he grew up to see and has lasted well over 20 years.

He was also joined by the Councillor of South 2, Hon. Solomon Akpan who adopted the incoming house member as a son of the ward for coming to share with the family of his longtime friend.

After winning and dining with his people, Mr Uduakobong thanked members of the family for the warm reception, he gave assurance that he will return again to them with good tidings when the time is due.
