Nigeria’s fashion, beauty and entertainment industry is set for a major convergence as the 15th edition of Miss Nigeria International and the third season of Inferno Runway take centre stage in Lagos on November 21, 2026.

The event, themed “The Crossroads of Africa,” will hold at the Swiss International The Vistana Hotel, Plot 4 and 5, Road 8D, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Victoria Garden City, Lagos.

Produced by Brendance Crusader Limited in collaboration with FETV Hub New York, USA, the event is expected to bring together beauty queens, fashion designers, models, creatives, entertainment personalities, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the creative industry.

The organisers said the theme reflects Africa’s position at the intersection of its rich cultural heritage and an increasingly globalised future, with particular emphasis on the role of young Africans in shaping the continent’s creative and cultural identity.

Project Lead, Mr Brendan Nsikak, said the event was conceived to go beyond the traditional celebration of beauty and fashion by creating a platform for conversations around culture, identity, creativity and the future of Africa.

«“The Crossroads of Africa represents a defining moment for our continent. We are standing between a rich cultural heritage that must be preserved and a rapidly changing world that demands innovation, creativity and bold thinking,” Nsikak said.»

He said the partnership between Miss Nigeria International and Inferno Runway would provide a wider platform for young creatives to showcase their talents and connect with industry opportunities.

“We want this edition to demonstrate that beauty, fashion and entertainment can be powerful tools for cultural expression, youth development and economic opportunity. The young people taking part are not simply participating in an event; they are contributing to the story of the Africa we are building,” he said.

For Miss Nigeria International 2026 contestants, the organisers said the competition would place emphasis on more than physical beauty, with confidence, intelligence, cultural awareness, creativity and purpose forming part of the broader focus.

Nsikak said the crown should also represent responsibility and the capacity to contribute meaningfully to society.

“The crown should represent more than beauty. It should also represent purpose, confidence, culture and responsibility. We are interested in women who understand where Africa is coming from, where it is today and what role they can play in shaping its future,” he said.

Also featuring at the event is Inferno Runway Season 3, a fashion reality competition focused on discovering and developing emerging African fashion designers.

The series is available on Amazon Prime Video, The Roku Channel and Tubi, giving African fashion and creative talent access to audiences beyond Nigeria.

The organisers said the collaboration would bring designers, models and beauty queens together, creating an intersection between contemporary African fashion, pageantry and cultural expression.

Beyond the entertainment value, the November event is expected to provide opportunities for networking, visibility and collaboration among young creatives and stakeholders across the fashion, beauty, entertainment, modelling and lifestyle sectors.

Mr Brendan called for partnerships and sponsorship from corporate organisations, brands, institutions and individuals interested in supporting emerging creative talents.
