The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment, Mr. David Sergeant, popularly known as Utang Akwa Ibom, on Saturday led a delegation to the grand opening ceremony of the Mma Tang Sio Relaxation Center and Hotel in Akwa Ibom State.
The visit was a show of support and recognition for the determination and entrepreneurial spirit behind the new hospitality and relaxation facility.
The delegation had the Personal Assistant to Governor on Entertainment (Music) Mary-Magdalene Afia (Afmay) and Oga Teazer. Speaking at the event, Mr Sergeant commended Mma Tang Sio for her courage, resilience and commitment to building a business that contributes to the growth of the state's hospitality and entertainment ecosystem.
He noted that stories of individuals who rise through hard work and perseverance deserve to be celebrated, particularly when their achievements create opportunities and add value to the state.
The opening ceremony attracted family members, friends, business associates, entertainers, community leaders and other well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the milestone.
