Born on 16th June 1987 into the respected family of Sir Dr. Fidelis Ibezhinim Job and Mrs. Hope Ogu-Job, she hails from Ogbo Community, Ward 13, Ancient Igbu Akoh Kingdom, Ekpeye Land, in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A firm believer that leadership is a responsibility rather than a privilege, Irene has dedicated her life to building people, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities that transform lives.
Academic Excellence

She began her education at Federal Government College Staff Nursery and Primary School (SNAPS), Rumokoro, before attending MacDonald Memorial International Institute (MMII), Igwuruta, Rivers State.
She obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Abuja before proceeding to Igbinedion University, Okada, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
Determined to compete on the global stage, she relocated to Canada, where she further specialized in International Business Management before earning a second Degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
In 2016, she achieved one of the highest professional distinctions in the insurance industry by becoming a Canadian Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), a credential that reflects her expertise in risk management, leadership, ethics, and corporate governance.
Her educational journey across Nigeria and Canada shaped her into a globally minded leader with deep local roots.

She successfully built an international health and wellness business that has empowered thousands of individuals across several countries.

Leadership has always defined Irene Job.
As a university student, she co-founded the Rivers State Students Association at Igbinedion University and became its first elected public relations officer, organizing the institution's first-ever Rivers Day Celebration.
She later co-founded the Business and Management Students Association and served as the first Financial Secretary of the association, helping establish structures that promoted student engagement and leadership.
Her passion for service naturally evolved into public leadership.
In 2023, she was elected President of the MMII Class of 2003 Alumni Association, where she transformed what was once a disconnected alumni network into a thriving global community connecting members across Nigeria and the diaspora.
Under her leadership, the association has promoted mentorship, entrepreneurship, networking, business collaborations, and educational support, preserving the legacy of a school that no longer exists while inspiring future generations.

Hon. Irene Job has distinguished herself as one of the leading voices for Nigerians in the diaspora.
She was appointed NYCN Diaspora Ambassador to Canada, where she coordinated leadership structures that united Nigerian youth organizations across Canada.

In 2026, she answered a higher call to public service by contesting for the House of Representatives to represent the people of Abua/Odual/Ahoada East Federal Constituency.
Following a successful primary election, she emerged as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Candidate, becoming one of the youngest female federal candidates in Rivers State.
