Yesterday, Saturday, March 14th, 2026, the reigning Mr. Leboku, Ewii-Ephraim Okoi Arikpo, graced the occasion hosted by Ejame Ayiba, the current Hunter of the Year for Epache-Nkome Kingdom in Ikom Local Government Area. Mr. Leboku 2025, Ewii-Ephraim, attended the unveiling of the reconstructed Ikom Urban Development Roundabout, which is the pet project of Hunt Ejame Ayiba.
During the event, Ewii-Ephraim connected with the traditional rulers and Obam dancers, adding to the cultural significance of the occasion. When asked about his visit to Ikom, he expressed his excitement and praised Ejame Ayiba for this remarkable project. He also emphasized that the relationship between Ugep and Epache-Nkome, as well as the broader Yakurr and Ikom Local Government Areas, would grow stronger.
Hunt Ejame Ayiba, the 5th winner of the Best Hunter of the Year contest, has distinguished himself as the most active by being the first to embark on such a transformative project.
