In a move to engage with its fans and promote creative expression, Upper X, a renowned music personality, has launched the Canaan (Rep Ur City) Open Verse Challenge.
The challenge invites fans, musicians and rappers to showcase their lyrical prowess and creativity by recording a video of themselves singing a verse from a one-minute track, available for download via Gbeduxclusive Blog.
How To Participate;
1. Fans are required to follow Upper X on all social media handles (as seen on the artwork).
2. Download the one minute verse via the link.
3. Record or make a video of yourself singing.
4. Upload it on their social media platforms while tagging Upper X.
The contest is open to all, and participants are encouraged to represent their cities or regions in the best way possible.
A total prize money of #50,000 is up for grabs, with the top three entries boasting the highest likes and comments wins the cash prize.
The contest closes on March 8th, and the winners will be announced on March 10th.
The challenge is open to creative interpretations, and participants are not limited to representing Calabar alone.
