Governor Umo Eno Presents Commissioner of the Year Award to Anieti Udofia
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has presented the Commissioner of the Year 2025 Award to the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Anieti Udofia, in recognition of his outstanding performance and dedication to duty.
The presentation was made during the first State Executive Council (EXCO) meeting of 2026, where the Governor commended Dr. Udofia for his exemplary leadership and the successful organisation of Christmas Unplugged 2025, one of the state’s flagship tourism events.
Governor Eno noted that the award reflects the administration’s commitment to rewarding excellence, innovation, and effective service delivery within government.
Dr. Udofia’s efforts, according to the Governor, have significantly enhanced Akwa Ibom’s cultural and tourism profile, contributing to economic growth and positive public engagement across the state.
