The Special Assitant to Chairman of Etinan local government council on Entertainment,Mr Nelson NseAbasi on Wednesday,January 7th,2026 officially joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) where he hails from in Southern Iman ward 2,he was received by the Ward Chairman, Comrade Jack Nsikan a.k.a Uche, and other ward executives including the secretary,youth leader, women leader and the chapter youth leader.
In his remark,Mr Nelson thanked the party executive for staying true to the ideals of the party under the leadership of the governor of Akwa Ibom state,Pastor Umo Eno Ph.D. Speaking further, he urged them to encourage their supporters and the citizenry to take advantage of the on-going voters' registration exercise.
He said that it is the voters card that would empower them in 2027 to support the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria,Pastor Umo Eno as Governor of Akwa Ibom state,Obong Paul Ekpo for Etinan Federal Constituency House of Representative, Hon Uduak-Obong Ekpo-Ufot for Etinan State Constituency and Hon Uko Umoh as Chairman of Etinan.
Speaking on behalf of the executive, the Ward Chairman, Comrade Nsikan commended Mr Nelson for the bold move, which he described as a valuable addition to the party in the ward. He expressed his assurances that the entrance of the entertainment guru will birth good tidings.
