Just when we thought we had seen energy, the great people of Eket LGA showed up in grandeur!
It’s not just their impressive numbers that stood them out, but the eye-catching, richly colourful, and beautifully curated cultural displays.
From the energetic Itembe to the maidens adorned in bright orange attire, the Ekpe, and the timely drumming that echoed like a heartbeat. The women, wrapped in dignifying fabrics, and the vibrant Eket youths vibing to scintillating tunes made the entire scene a delight to behold.
Prominent sons and daughters of Eket were well represented, while royal fathers and mothers graced the event—proving once again why Eket truly earns the nickname, “Idung Mfia Enwe.”
