▪️ Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Anieti Udofia, delivered a remarkable tone-setting address that captured the vision of this year’s celebration.
▪️ Sir Charles Udoh, Delivery Advisor to the Governor on Christmas Unplugged, gave an eloquent and insightful speech that further energized the audience.
▪️ Dr. Uwemedimo Udo, Chairman of ALGON and Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area, offered a reassuring goodwill message that emphasized unity and community participation.
▪️ Rt. Hon. Elder Udeme Otong, Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, and Mrs. Elsie Peters, the newly appointed Head of Civil Service, delivered emphatic goodwill messages that resonated strongly with the audience.
▪️ The Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, gave a vibrant and inspiring speech, followed by the official unveiling of Christmas Unplugged 3.0, crowned with dazzling celebratory fireworks.
Dignitaries, cheerleaders, and spectators were all in attendance to witness this colourful and memorable opening.
Mr. Morgan Ekanem, Special Assistant to the Governor on General Duties, did a great job calling on dignitaries to show their dance steps before rendering their speeches.
The trio of Mighty George Essien, Courage Mbon, Hypeman Ekpe Ikot kept the stage alive while DJ Peejaay, and Brass Band delivered top-notch musical performances.
Dr. Ubong Inyang, the Honourable Commissioner for Land and Town Planning gave opening prayer.
