The Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy has entered into a strategic partnership with Ambassador Phi Roberts ahead of the Rock Music Festival 2025. The collaboration was confirmed on 20th November 2025 through an official letter from the Ministry, following a successful high-level meeting in Abuja.

According to the Ministry, the partnership sets the stage for the festival to serve as a major cultural and diplomatic platform, drawing global creative leaders, entertainment stakeholders, and international missions to Nigeria.

Ambassador Phi Roberts, President of the Rock Music Federation and convener of the Rock Music Festival, shared his excitement while speaking with journalists on Thursday. He described this year’s edition as the biggest diplomats’ music concert Nigeria will witness.

He expressed appreciation to the Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Hon. Hannatu Musa Musawa, for her continued support towards the growth of the creative sector.

“I want to thank Honourable Hannatu Musa Musawa for her continuous support for the art and creative industry in Nigeria. This year’s Rock Music Festival promises an unforgettable blend of music, culture, diplomacy, tourism promotion, and youth engagement,” he said.

The Rock Music Festival is a multicultural, youth-focused celebration that promotes peace and unity through music. It features entertainment diplomacy, creative expression, international and local artist collaborations, and tourism promotion through arts and culture. The festival welcomes diplomats, tourists, artists, young people, corporate partners, and media organizations.

This year’s edition will take place on 13th December 2025 at Jabo Lake Mall, bringing together performers and audiences from within and outside the country.
