Akwa Ibom State Launches Christmas Unplugged 3.0 Festival


Akwa Ibom State is set to kick off the Christmas Unplugged 3.0 festival today, marking the beginning of a 32-day celebration of music, culture, cuisine, and merriment. The opening ceremony, scheduled to take place at the Amphitheater, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, will be officiated by the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno.


The festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring cultural displays, musical performances by renowned Akwa Ibom artists, including Disasta, Amanam, and DJ Peejay, among others. The event is expected to attract thousands of visitors and residents, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and vibrant entertainment scene of Akwa Ibom State.


Governor Umo Eno has extended an invitation to everyone to come and experience the festive cheer, promising a spectacular celebration that will leave lasting memories. The festival will run from December 1, 2025, to January 1, 2026, and will feature various events and activities, including happy hour, culinary delights, and musical performances.
