In a significant breakthrough, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Lagos state strategic command has arrested a popular singer, Ben G Piano, for possession of illicit substances. The arrest was made on September 28, 2025, at a private residence in Lekki Phase 1.
According to sources, NDLEA operatives received a tip-off about the singer's involvement in drug trafficking and conducted a sting operation, recovering a substantial quantity of cannabis and other substances.
Ben G Piano, known for his chart-topping hits, is currently in NDLEA custody, assisting with investigations. The agency is working to determine the extent of his involvement in the drug trade and potential connections to other suspects.
