Benue attacks: Actress Hilda Dokubo poses a pertinent question

Worried about the recent attacks in Benue state and the contributions made so far, actress Hilda Dokubo took to social media to ask a pertinent question. 

 

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Ms Dokubo stated that the people of Benue have been advised to go and “reconcile.”

 

She asked who the people of Benue are meant to and reconcile with.

‘’The cattles, the herdsmen? the de@d? the bereaved? the government? who?

Recall that during his speech at the Presidential stakeholder's meeting with President Tinubu on Tuesday, June 18, the paramount ruler of Tor Tiv, James Ayse, had said that there have been a misinformation about the crisis that has rocked the state for decades. 

 

He pointed out that the killings in Benue State are not clashes between herders and farmers, but a planned attack aimed at taking over land.There have been calls for the people of Benue to settle and accommodate the herders.
