UTANG AKWA IBOM AT AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY AHEAD OF AKSU-FEST 2024
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Entertainment, Mr David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) paid an unscheduled visit to the Department of Theatre Arts, Akwa Ibom State University.
Utang Akwa Ibom was received by the Acting Head of Department, Dr. Lucy Iseyen and taken round the different units that make up the Department. Also present during the visit was a senior lecturer, Dr Ikike Ufford and the Staff Adviser, Mr Stephen Umoh.
Dr. Iseyen used the opportunity of the visit to intimate the Governor's aide of the planned one-week festival of performances, to be held by the Department at the Pinnacle Theatre from May 20th through 24th.
On his part, Mr Sergeant reiterated the resolve of his boss, the Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Eno to discover, groom, patronize and promote homegrown talents.
