The Face Of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Miss Mmeyene Sunday is set to dole out palliative to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal on students of her institution.
The beauty queen in an announcement on social media made it known that on Friday, September 15, 2023, students will enjoy subsidy on transportation costs withing the campus.
The 'Discount on Transportation' scheme is in partnership with the office of the Director of Transport at Akwa Poly Bus Station by 4pm.
In a chat with press men, Miss Mmeyene, a student of Mass Communication department, said she is inspired to share the token she has with her fellow students, understanding how difficult the time is in the post subsidy removal era.
