A group of media professionals in Cross River State known as 'Transparent Media Group' has expressed concern over an attempt by blackmailers to defame and discredit CSP Julian Igbudu, a highly reputable police officer known for his integrity and commitment to protecting the lives and property of the people.
The group's National Coordinator; Chief Effiom Anyi at a press conference in Calabar, the Cross River State capital on Wednesday, stressed that CSP Igbudu, Commander of SWAT, Akwa Ibom State Command, has served with distinction and honour, submitting that any attempt to slander his character through AI generated pictures, videos and social media shenanigans are false, malicious and that the culprits should be made to face the full wrath of the law.
Anyi, who informed that a formal report had been lodged with the appropriate security agencies regarding the issue, submitted that the no nonsense police officer will never be cowed, marred or discouraged by the planned assaults against his person.
The group encouraged him not to allow any elements distract him stressing that the gate of hell cannot stop the good works which God is using him for in the life of humanity.
