The many reforms agenda reeled out so far by the present administration are indicative of the fact that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration is fast on it's heels to take Nigeria completely out of the woods.
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and National Coordinator, Neighbourhood Coalition, a burgeoning support group of the party, Hon. Emmanuel Stephen Enang said in an interview in Calabar that States in country would have to make extra push to catch up with the fast pace development of the Tinubu led administration.
He noted that the current reforms initiated by the administration signpost the heightened level of development in all sectors of the Nation's Economy.
"So far President Tinubu has designed a better future for the country and when the reform processes are over for the eventual take off of the wheels of development, it would be an experience to behold."
Enang who was the Spokesman for the defunct Presidential Campaign Council, PCC in the South South Zone also praised the ingenuity and understanding of the APC Governors Forum as well as the leadership of the National Assembly under Sen. Godswill Akpabio saying that the two bodies have equally demonstrated their readiness to co-operate with the Federal Government for the stability and growth of the polity.
"We must all appreciate the reforms in the Economic sector.In fact,I can say for free that so far the economic reforms are predictably showing signs of a progressive Nigeria ahead.".
Enang charged State Governors to take advantage of the foreign policy objectives of the present administration to advance the well-being and development of their states' economy.
According to him,"since politics is now over and the bell now tolls for development,the onus of getting these development template trickle down lies with the Governors.
"One way to achieve that is to align the Federal Government's Foreign Policy Objectives with a view to opening up the economy for greater investment opportunities.".
He maintained that opportunities in the Agro-Allied Industry should be the priority of states willing to fast track the development of their economies.
Enang charged the National Assembly to make laws that will provide for more flexible opportunities for investment adding that the private sector must be truly seen to be the major drivers of the economy.
