Neighbourhood Coalition are-nascent socio-political support group of the All Progressives Congress, APC has reiterated its commitment to the success of the APC led administration both at the centre and in Cross River State.
The group rose from an evaluation meeting on the heels of the one month anniversary of the present administration with the resolve to demonstrate extra commitment towards the success of the administration.
Briefing newsmen shortly after the meeting which was held in Calabar yesterday, National Coordinator of the Coalition, Hon. Emmanuel Stephen Enang said the organisation was poised to ensure that the citizens are aware, understand and appreciate the good intentions of the Administration for them.
While urging Nigerians to continue to be patient with President Tinubu as he plans to assuage their plight over the subsidy removal imbroglio, Enang said the organisation will continue to engage with the masses through public enlightenment initiatives on the goodwill outlined by the Administration for their welfare.
According to him,both "President Tinubu and Governor Otu of Cross River who is incidentally the only progressive Governor in the South South, have one thing in common: the interest of the people at heart; "It is this interest that informs our appeal to Nigerians to be extra patient and continue to lend their support to the two leaders to ensure a stable polity that guarantees massive, multidimensional turnaround in both their living conditions and in the polity."
He praised Sen. Otu for initiating a prayer summit stating that it was apt coming at the beginning of his first term in office. "Beginning with God in any endeavour of life has the potential of greater,meaningful impact.
As it continues thereafter, one will begin to see God's hand dishing out blessing in manifold measure to land."
The National Coordinator expressed hope that Nigeria under Tinubu will be greater stating that the President has demonstrated readiness of his Administration to fix the missing link and make a name in posterity.
On the group's evaluation of the two leaders so far,the Coalition's Coordinator remarked that so far, Cross River State and indeed Nigeria was already in the threshold of restoration, adding that the lost glory and heritage of the land will be restored.
"I can say for free that this is Cross River's time to take back what rightly belongs to her, and fortunately, Sen. Otu has a calm but visionary, focused and determined mien to succeed. I can also mention that with the support of President Tinubu, Cross River will spring back to limelight.".
The group urges other well meaning citizens whether in private or corporate capacities to continue to act as Vanguards for progressive change through initiatives that can help to stabilise the polity.
The event featured tour to some tourist sites within Calabar Metropolis.
