Guiness World Record star chef, Hilda Baci will join Nollywood veterans, Ini Edo, Chidi Mokeme and Ime Bishop as special guests at the Drive In Cinema event to mark Ibom Air at 4.
A release via the company's social media platforms reels out detail of a fun-packed event put together to celebrate the airline's 4th anniversary with the theme "Flying 4ward".
According to the release signed by Ibom Air's General Manager Marketing and Communication, Aniekan Essienette, the Drive-In cinema takes place on Friday, June 9,2023 at Ibom Tropicana Car Park and will witness performances by some of Nigeria's finest talents; Keny Blaq, Dandizzy and Son of the Soil, Ikpa Udo.
"Established and owned by the Government of Akwa Ibom State, the airline has recorded significant milestones, surpassing even the projections it set for itself. With its modern fleet of aircraft, commitment to safety, and unparalleled customer service, Ibom Air has emerged as the preferred choice for travelers seeking safety, comfort, reliability, and affordability" the release partly reads.
Ibom Air began commercial operations on the 7th of June 2019 and has since inception set the standard as an Airline of choice for passengers by focusing on schedule reliability, on-time departures, and excellent service. Ibom Air’s current fleet includes five (5) Bombardier CRJ 900 and two (2) Airbus A320s, covering seven (7) destinations and nine (9) routes.
"Earlier in the year, Ibom Air was awarded the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, another testament to its commitment to the highest safety standards in the industry. On this, the COO, Mr. George Uriesi said, “the achievement of IOSA certification, the imminent entry into service of the new, ultra-modern hub terminal in our home base, the commencement of aircraft maintenance at the brand-new MRO facility also in Uyo, and the forthcoming delivery of our first brand new Airbus A220-300, together represent a pivotal moment for the Company as we prepare to expand our services into West and Central Africa in the second half of the year” the release stated.
The COO also expressed, on behalf of the board, management, and staff, the profound gratitude of the airline to its loyal customers, associates, and stakeholders across the country and beyond for their support these past four years.
