For clarity, the refund from the Federal Government for roads constructed by the Akwa Ibom State Government which critics use to cook their criticism happened in 2018. And the truth is: the refund is done based on the cost of materials at that time. When that figures were captured a bag of cement was perhaps 1,200 now a bag of cement is about 5,000. Back then, what was the exchange rate, today the exchange rate is over the roof.
