Announces half a million for Ibom Football Joggling Competition

DDP Galaxy Entertainment, owners of DDP Galaxy TV on Monday, December 6, 2021 splashed N100,000 on dancers who emerged in a free-for-all dancing competition at the Ibom Christmas Village.

Little Favour Timothy came out tops, beating the other finalists to win N50,000. The 2nd & 3rd runners up won N30,000 and N20,000 respectively and the cheering crowd rained praises and prayers on the donor, Osunmanu for the kind gesture.

In his remark during the presentation, the CEO of DDP Galaxy Entertainment, Sir Obioma Onyeama aka Osunmanu expressed pleasure in the warm reception and natural disposition of Akwa Ibom State and people.

'DDP Galaxy Entertainment owns the best studio in Akwa Ibom State, Sir Onyeama announced on stage, our aim is to give boost to the entertainment industry in the state. We have been here for over five years, investing in talents and movie productions, from now henceforth, we are taking our commitment a step further by partnering with the government of Governor Udom Emmanuel, which is why we have offered this token to discover dancers'.

'We will not stop here', Mr Obioma declared, our company is giving out half a million in the Ibom Football Joggling Competition few days from now. We have concluded talks with the Guiness World Record Holder on Ball Joggling & Balancing, Harrison Chinedu, to host the first ever ball joggling competition in Akwa Ibom State. This is in search of football talents that we can promote, and we are also working on projects with the veteran xylophonist of the 90s fame, Udo Mariam, very soon, the world will see him in a new dimension" he revealed.

The DDP boss thanked the Honourable Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Rt. Hon. Orman Esin for the initiative of the Ibom Christmas Celebration and Village, he promised to continually partner with his ministry and the state government on lofty projects.
