UTANG AKWA IBOM FLAGS OFF E-VOTER'S REGISTRATION IN AFAHA OFFOT, UYO ENVIRONS
The Special Assistant to Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Entertainment Industry, Mr David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 flagged off the e-voter's registration in his community, Afaha Offot village, Ward 7, Uyo local government area, in company of the Councillor, Hon. Hillary Udi.
In his remark, the governor's aide said the effort is inspired by the need to ensure that the people are empowered to exercise their franchise when it is time for elections, he also urged the citizens there present to encourage their kinsmen to take advantage of the voter's registration.
Utang Akwa Ibom landed by presenting refreshments to the INEC officials, People's Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairman, Mr. Imo Mfon Uwah, women, youths and elders in the community.
