FOCUS AFRICA EXPO SET TO BEAM LIGHT ON OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CONTINENT

The Nigerian capital, Abuja will come alive from Monday, November 1st to 4th, 2021 with pitches, presentations and networking activities as stakeholders and business owners in Africa converge for Focus Africa Science, Innovation & Commodity Expo.

The event promises to spotlight the various potentials and opportunities in Africa, while building ties for future partnership amongst countries in the continent. According to the convener, Mr Success Bright, "the expo is our response to the dire need to reverse the chronic dependence of African Countries on the exportation of raw materials and the importation of processed products from the same raw materials that are exported from the continent".

Linking indigenous research technology and innovation industry, harmonising trade partnership across the continent and promoting the acceptance and preference of local made goods form the major highlights of the event, which enjoys support from the Nigerian Raw Materials Research & Development Council.

Expected in attendance are manufacturers, key players in raw materials and commodity subsector, government agencies from across countries in Africa, research institutions, financial institutions, youth-led tech & agriculture businesses.

Focus Africa seeks to redress the global impression of Africa and beam to the world her success stories, thus bringing to fore the rich mineral deposit, economic

opportunities .
