The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information & Communication, Comrade Ini Ememobong has given his nod to the forthcoming Ibom Entertainment Week scheduled to hold from September 15-19, 2021.
The commissioner who has redefined information management and communication for the present administration, using innovation and youthful energy, expressed pleasure in the efforts of the governor's aide on entertainment, Mr David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom).
Barr. Ememobong said he acknowledges entertainment as a tool to effectively reach out, especially to young people in the youth demography, hence the need to support the entertainment festival with the state's information apparatus, to propagate evidences of Governor Emmanuel's dividends of democracy.
He commended Utang Akwa Ibom, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Hon. Godfada Uko and his team for putting together the Ibom Entertainment Week and pledged the support of his ministry.
