COMMISSIONS PROJECT ON BIRTHDAY
The governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof Ben Ayade has gifted 10 million naira and a car to talented Cross River artiste and producer, Johnny Kage.
Governor Ayade made the pronouncement today, March 2, 2021 during the commissioning of the fabrication factory and being his birthday. In the same spirit, he donated a brand new car to a comedian, MC Senator after a sterling performance.
The performance by hundreds of talents at the annual Calabar Festival and similar gestures like these had made Cross River entertainers celebrate Ayade at 53 in a widely publicised congratulatory message signed by the Special Assistant to governor on Entertainment, Mr Effiom Bassey (Effiom Trombone).
It could be recalled that the governor had splashed a whooping 30 million naira on talents in the state; Real P, Okpo Rekords and Kelly B had gotten 10 million naira each from him sometime ago.
The donation by the governor who chose to work even on his birthday,has reiterated his resolve to serve his people and leave impacts in their lives.
In his remark, Effiom thanked Governor Ayade for the many opportunities given to entertainers in the state, describing him as the 'Most Entertainment Friendly Governor'.
