Excitement filled the air on the sunny afternoon of Friday, September 11, 2020, as the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Hon. Orman Esin made a surprise appearance at the Laff Nation 'Nsuto Ufok Nwed' audition in Uyo.
The member of the state executive council in his statement at the occasion commended Laff Nation for their creativity and consistency in dishing out comic contents to their teeming fans, moreso for also creating a platform for other talents to shine with them.
The born entertainer and politician admonished the young ones who were standing by for their audition. 'Many of the super stars you adore today started like this, he said, 'I urge you to put in your best because you never can tell where this will take you' Hon. Esin added.
The 'Nsuto Ufok Nwed' series by Laff Nation is a school based story, says Etim Okon, (the Prophet) 'What kind of school?' as the name means, ' I won't like to let the cat out of the bag, but trust me, it will be worth your watch-time'.
The screening for cast to earn roles in the new series was packaged by Talent Bank Nigeria, held at The Hangout, Uyo with support from the Special Assistant to Governor on Entertainment Industry, Mr David Sergeant, Least Pay Group and Chymall-Team Lifting.
