The Special Assistant to Akwa Ibom state Governor on Entertainment Industry, Mr David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) on Thursday, February 13, 2020 joined music lovers all over the world to mourn the demise of Highlife music legend, Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya (OON).
He said in his post on social; 'the entire music world would miss the late legend, same here with us from Akwa Ibom State' , and prayed that the Doyen of highlife music find repose with the creator, while wishing the family and entire music community the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
Sir Olaiya passed on in Lagos on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Lagos University Teaching Hospital.
