It has now been confirmed that P-Square is splitting. Peter and Paul Okoye are now set to pursue solo music careers. This is coming after several back and forth attempts to manage the internal crisis that ultimately ravaged the group.
The update on the issue is that Peter Okoye has taken a legal approach to formalize the dissolution of the group. The singer recently sent a letter to renowned lawyer, Festus Keyamo (SAN) to dissolve the group and terminate any existing contract that binds the P-Square brand.
In the letter, Peter wrote that the threats on his life and that of his immediate family, are the reasons he is seeking for a formal dissolution of the group. As it seems, it appears Peter would flag his solo career bearing the name, ‘Mr. P’, while Paul Okoye seems to have settled for ‘Rudeboy’.
