Musicians Employers Association of Nigeri
(PMAN), it is apparent that peace is far
from
returning to the association soon.
With the Dissolution of the Of PMAN Cross
River Exclusives , and appointment of
Transition Committee by the house, to
handle the Association which will lead to a
establishment of Electoral Committee
responsible for The Electoral process of th
Association, The have been mixed
reactions, dramas etc concerning the
Dissolution, establish of transition
committee and controversy regarding to
artist payment of last year Calabar festival

ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (CROSS RIVER
STATE CHAPTER)
To whom it May Concern:
Having been an ardent member of PMAN
Cross River State chapter, contributed my
quota to every enjoyable events we had.
Motivated, trained and projected over fifty
five PMAN artistes within five months of
running. It is pertinent for me to clear som
vague issues about the true nature of
misrepresentation, that has been going on
lately in Performing Musicians Employers
Association of Nigeria,(PMAN) cross river
state chapter.
The recent smooth and peaceful transition
of Effiom Trombone's led Exco to a new
regime, that was scheduled to follow the
laid down rules by the PMAN National
earlier last month was truncated by a grou
of ill will friends seeking power by all
means.
This set of ill will friends trying to hijack th
people's mandate at all cost to gain acces
to put their friends in PMAN's state
Executive seats.
They hurriedly dissolved the state Exco
without due Process, without a mandate
from PMAN National Executive.
Formed illegal transition government,
Advertising their personal business office
as PMAN state secretariat. PMAN cross
river state chapter has not officially
announced any Secretariat yet, please
don't be deceived.
The dissolution of PMAN state Executive in
Chairman's absence by individuals
nominated to fill the dormant posts in
Effiom Trombone led Exco is tantamount t
treasonable felony.
The formation of illegal transition committe
without mandate from PMAN National is a
criminal act.
Parading yourselves as new transition
committee officers without constitutional
mandate is jail bound.
Advertising of election positions in a bid to
enrich and satisfy personal
aggrandizement is corruption.
Fighting off PMAN members and issuing of
threats to anyone who dare to speak the
truth is tyranny.
Most of us spent our resources, time and
connections with the help of our elders to
put PMAN cross river state chapter in a
laudable state today.
We therefore condemn any form of tyrann
hijacking of a peaceful transition process
with threats, public deceit, unauthorized
broadcasts and pictures to mislead the
public.
PMAN cross river state is a chapter that
operates from the power source of PMAN
national constitution and standing
proceeding orders not in isolation.
It's bigger than anybody or group of ill will
friends with questionable characters, who
have spent close to 15years in this music
business without achievement, but always
destroying progress of different regimes.
The essence of PMAN cross river state
chapter is to harness, project and protect
the interests of PMAN members not for
extortion, clique interests, or abuse of
power.
I therefore make this clarion call to PMAN
National to ban this illegal committee with
immediate effect, so that PMAN cross rive
state chapter activities can return to
normalcy and follow the due process of
transition into a new regime.
I stand for equality, justice and due
process for the betterment of the
association and welfare of its members.
