Calabar to host Super Falcons, Flying Eagles


Nigeria Football Federation officials have hinted that the U.J Esuene Stadium will host the qualification matches of the national women team the Super Falcons and also the national U-20 team the Flying Eagles.

The Super Falcons will play their Gambia counterparts for the Women African Cup of Nations on June 9. The Gambians who are aiming to make their first appearance in the tournament will host the first leg on June 4.The Gambia ladies stunned Burkina Faso on penalties the previous round of the qualifiers for Ghana 2018.



The Flying Eagles will be away to play against Guinea Bissau on Saturday for the first leg U20 AFCON qualifier and a week later play the second leg in Calabar.

Port Harcourt and Katsina are two other cities who could host the Flying Eagles.
