This annual Youth Capacity Building Summit is primarily targeted towards knowledge and requisite skills sharing between industry experts and young people from Badagry.
The objective is to disrupt the prevailing indolence among a good number of the youth population by raising their capacity and proficiency in any chosen career or profession to world class standard.
BADAGRY CORRIDOR GRADUATE-YOUTH CONFERENCE is platform that fills the skill vacuum amongst youths in the over 263 developing communities situated between Nigeria's most viable land border, SEME through the symbolic town, Badagry and the Agbara Industrial Estate opposite Morogbo town.
Today, the Social Media - THE NEW MEDIA - especially Facebook has over 2 billion active monthly users with a vast majority of its users using such online platforms to improve their personal or corporate economic worth.
The SEASON 2.0 (2017) edition intends to expose Badagry Youths to Digital Skills and back-end techniques needed to operate and succeed in the Cyberspace as legitimate entrepreneurs.
The basic tool needed is as small as a mobile phone, yet many Youths on the Badagry Corridor are yet to "connect" to this border less ocean of opportunities on the Internet.
October 2, 2017 is the day for unemployed GRADUATE-YOUTH to break free from the shackles of hopelessness by getting on the bandwidth of prosperity.
The maiden edition, which focused on PRE-REQUISITES FOR EMPLOY-ABILITY THE BADAGRY DEEP SEAPORT AND OIL & GAS PROJECTS had 516 GRADUATE-YOUTH drawn from 112 communities in attendance.
